Riding the Himalayas to support local women's shelters
The Ride for Shelter in the Himalayan Mountains has begun!
Just THIRTEEN Royal LePage Professionals have raised
$123,000
for the Shelter Foundation and to help put an end to domestic violence!
In August, a group of Royal LePage Professionals ride motorcycles will journey to India and motorcycle for 13 days across the Himalayas.
Their adventure will have participants riding through pine forests, snow capped mountains and red rocky landscapes. They'll also be riding on the Khardung La Pass, reputed to be the highest motorable road in the world at 5,380m.
Every dollar raised will support courageous women and children in finding safety and building lives free from abuse. Each individual rider must raise at least $1,000 in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
Royal LePage Benchmark Motorcycle Riders
Royal LePage Benchmark has three riders going to India: Debbie Leah, Ken Morris and Chris Pitman. We hope you will take a moment to help support them in raising donations and helping a great cause!
100% of the funds raised will go to support
Participants are responsible to pay for their own fare, rentals, food etc. Every dollar raised is going directly through to a local shelter, 100% of the administrative costs are covered by Royal LePage Canada.
